Southwest Airlines offers Fox News, MSNBC on flights, but not CNN

Southwest Airlines is adding live in-flight TV to five planes, reports Biz Journals.

Passengers will now be able to enjoy NBC Sports, MLB.com, NFL Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Fox News and Fox Business Network.

One news channel that didn’t make the cut: CNN, which is currently suffering its lowest ratings in 21 years.

The Dallas-based airline plans to expand service to 20 planes by mid-July, according to a press release.

According to the company, the service “is offered as a separate charge from WiFi… The airline will evaluate different price points from $3 to $8 throughout the trial period.”
