The long-awaited Apple TV update was announced Wednesday with the introduction of “tvOS.”
New features were introduced include multiplayer game support, Siri voice controls, a revamped remote and a new suite of apps. (RELATED: iPhone 6S And 6S Plus Announced)
Using Siri, one can now use their voice to search across multiple apps including iTunes, Netflix, Hulu, HBO and Showtime for content.
The remote has a built-in touch screen which supports touchscreen like gestures with “velocity-sensitive swiping.” (RELATED: Apple Just Unveiled A Monster New iPad)
The new Apple TV will cost $149 for the 32GB model and $199 for the 64GB model.
