Gates arrived at Trump Tower at “high noon” for the first ever, face-to-face meeting between the business titans.
The meeting lasted for just over an hour, and Gates briefly talked to reporters on his way out of the building.

“It was a good time,” the billionaire philanthropist said of the meeting. “We had a good conversation about innovation, how it can help in health, education, the impact of foreign aid and energy, and a wide-ranging conversation about power of innovation.”
Earlier on Tuesday, the Microsoft co-founder told CNBC’s Becky Quick that he is optimistic about Trump’s presidency, specifically his willingness to foster “American leadership through innovation.” (VIDEO: Gates Shocks ‘Squawk Box’ — Trump Could Be The Next JFK)
In the CNBC interview, Gates likened Trump to President John F. Kennedy,
