Kid Cudi opened up about his struggles with depression and “demons” in a must-read profile.

The superstar rapper has a well-documented past when it comes to depression and other mental health issues. Back in October 2016, the “Pursuit of Happiness” singer checked into rehab for those problems, and claimed he was suicidal. (RELATED: Kid Cudi Checks Himself Into Rehab)

Cudi told GQ the following in a recent profile:

I was thinking of ways to do it. It scared me straight. What scared me was that my mind was willing to go there. After all these years … I’m not battling any demons right now. Thank God.

This is the type of stuff that you love to see. Cudi has battled some serious demons in his life, and he really hasn’t ever hid from it. He’s been open about it in the most honest way possible. Read that FB post above and tell me I’m wrong.

You just have to hope he continues to battle whatever problems he might face and come out stronger on the other end. Given how open he’s been, something tells me he’s going to be alright.

Shoutout to Cudi and GQ for the profile. Hopefully, he comes back with some great music sometime in the very near future. The rap game is better off when he’s dominating.
