Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh is not happy with Dr. Anthony Fauci and his conduct during the daily coronavirus press briefings.

During an episode of his show this week, Limbaugh referenced an incident that happened after a briefing this week when ABC News reporter Jonathan Karl gave Fauci a salute, to which Fauci gave him the finger guns gesture.

Limbaugh also expressed frustration about the presence of a pro-China reporter who appeared to push Chinese talking points during Monday’s coronavirus briefing.

“Jonathan Karl yesterday brought in a China-sympathetic reporter to that press briefing. That China reporter in there from Phoenix TV — that’s a Chinese dominated company — Jonathan Karl of ABC runs the White House Correspondents’ Association, so he brought the reporter in there,” Limbaugh said.

“And I don’t know if anybody noticed it, but little Dr. Fauci at the end of the briefing gave Karl a thumbs-up like a ‘job well done’ kind of thing.”

He also ripped into the White House coronavirus task force, accusing them of wanting to “get rid” of Trump.

“We got all of these Hillary Clinton sympathizers still on the medical expert team here. And we know that one thing has not changed, and that is these people’s desire above everything else to get rid of Donald Trump,” he said.

“Can you believe these people don’t care about the economy being shut down? It is stunning to me.”

Limbaugh is correct that the reporter is a member of the White House Correspondents Association (WHCA), which Karl is the president of, but her hard pass was actually issued by the Trump administration.

During the Monday briefing, Fauci told Karl that life in America may never go back to pre-coronavirus “normal” until there is a vaccine, which is not projected to happen for at least a year or more.

“If you want to get to pre-coronavirus, you know, that might not ever happen, in the sense of the fact that the threat is there,” Fauci said. (RELATED: ‘We Should Never Let Someone Like That Run This Country’: Tucker Carlson Says Dr. Fauci’s Advice Could Lead To ‘National Suicide’)
