Ole Miss students had themselves a day Monday.

Mississippi and other large chunks of the region are currently being hammered by snow and frigid temps, and some students at Ole Miss were looking to make the best of it. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

According to The Daily Mississippian, students flooded to Vaught-Hemingway Stadium for a snowball fight.

Unfortunately, the cops just couldn’t let a good thing happen. In an Instagram video posted by Old Row, an officer could be seen rushing to the scene and stopping two women as everyone else flees.

Why did the police need to break this situation up? Do the great officers in Oxford have nothing better to do than stop a snowball fight?

I’d like to assume that the answer is yes, but I guess that you just don’t know. They were throwing snow. It wasn’t a damn gunfight in the trenches.

Let the kids have some fun. We’ve all been through a hell of a year. If Ole Miss students want to have a snowball fight at the football stadium, then who gives a damn? Crack a few beers and join them!
