The McCaffrey family is beefing with Nebraska football coach Scott Frost.

Quarterback Luke McCaffrey transferred from Nebraska after this past season, and he ultimately landed at Rice after a brief cup of coffee at Louisville. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Apparently, Frost felt the need to take a shot at him. According to Mitch Sherman, Frost was talking about transfers and said, “Buckle up because this isn’t the last time you’re going to see this happening…A lot of those kids are getting bad advice.”

Well, that didn’t sit well with the McCaffrey clan. Christian McCaffrey, who is a star for the Panthers, pointed out that Scott Frost transferred out of Stanford early in his career, and added, “PSA to all recruits: take note on how a coach treats his players once they’re no longer useful to him.”

His brother Max added, “Treat all players former and current with RESPECT. Especially kids… C’mon man.”

This is a very ugly look from Frost, and I’m not just saying that because I’m constantly at war with the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Luke McCaffrey isn’t a part of the program. He’s moved on, and there’s no reason for Frost to be talking about him.

All that’s going to do at this point is make the situation worse and piss people off.

It really is a clown show in Lincoln right now, and the fact members of the McCaffrey family are feuding with Frost is proof of that fact.

The McCaffrey family is pretty much football royalty, and they’re a classy family. The fact they’re getting vocal on Twitter is proof they’re upset.

Be better, Frost. Be much better!
