Netflix’s upcoming movie about Sean Payton’s suspension from the NFL looks atrocious.

The head coach of the New Orleans Saints was suspended for the 2012 season for his alleged role in the Bountygate scandal. During his time away from the league, Payton coached his son’s youth football team, and Netflix is dropping a movie called “Home Team” with Kevin James about the situation.

The only problem is that it looks absolutely terrible. I mean, it looks so bad that you almost have to wonder if it’s real.

Give the trailer a watch below.

Look, I like Kevin James and he’s made a lot of entertaining content over the years. Having said that, I can’t even sit here and pretend like this movie looks good.

The trailer for “Home Team” looks like a bad “SNL” skit.

Also, is there anyone who looks less like Sean Payton than Kevin James? Outside of the fact they’re both white men, they don’t resemble each other at all.

I like a lot of what Netflix produces, but it’s okay to admit when something looks like it’s going to bomb. Unless fans get a miracle, it looks like that’s exactly what’s going to happen when “Home Team” drops Jan. 28.
