A female jogger fended off a man Sunday who tried to grab her as she jogged a popular hiking trail in Florida, according to authorities.

Nineteen year-old Israel Pagan grabbed the unidentified victim Sunday around 5 p.m., as she ran along the Little Econ Greenway trail, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement posted to Facebook.

Authorities said the victim “was able to fight him off” and detectives “are now looking for other potential victims Pagan may have attacked.” (RELATED: Memphis Unites To Finish Run Eliza Fletcher Never Got To Complete)

The victim managed to snap a picture of Pagan which authorities then used to track him down, Local 10 reported. Authorities questioned Pagan about the incident and he admitted to approaching the girl and grabbing her shoulders from behind, according to Local 10. Pagan reportedly claims the two tussled and fell to the ground and he threw himself on top of her but later backed away from her. Pagan claimed he was intoxicated, according to the report.

Pagan faces a charge of attempted sexual battery of a victim over the age of 12, according to the report.

The attack came just two days after Eliza Fletcher was kidnapped while jogging early Friday morning in Memphis. Surveillance footage captured the 34-year-old mother being forced into a black GMC Terrain by Cleotha Abston after he “ran aggressively” toward Fletcher. Her body was found Tuesday and Abston has been charged with murder.
