Ben Simmons is certainly in the Thanksgiving spirit, despite Philadelphia’s lack of brotherly love.

The Brooklyn Nets squared off against the Philadelphia 76ers Nov. 22 that saw the Sixers get a 115-106 victory, but it’s what happened during the game that has everybody talking, and it all revolves around none other than Philly legend himself Ben Simmons.

First, you had the fact that Ben Simmons was getting booed by Sixers fans literally every time that he was passed the ball, with the loudest wave hitting him during player introductions, which led to a cocky (despite losing) Ben Simmons saying after the game, “I thought it was going to be louder.”

Second, Philadelphia currently has this promotion going on with Chick-fil-A called “Bricken for Chicken.” If an opposing player misses back-to-back free throws during the second half of a game, every fan attending the game receives a free order of chicken nuggets the next day. In true Thanksgiving spirit, Ben Simmons made that happen — because, of course, it would be Ben Simmons.

And then you have these gems:

Ben Simmons is out here shooshing the crowd and doing the Michael Jordan shrug after hitting free throws, just to go on and pull off back-to-back bricks to give that same crowd free Chick-fil-A nuggets. This is such a perfect representation of Ben Simmons.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Never change, Ben.

The entertainment value that this walking circus provides is absolutely fantastic.
