Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, plans to release a memoir, according to reports published Saturday.

Meghan’s husband, Prince Harry, is set to release his own 416-page memoir, “Spare,” on January 10, according to Rolling Stone. Reports have since surfaced suggesting that Markle is planning to drop her own book once her husband’s is released, the Mail on Sunday reported.

The Prince’s book title, “Spare,” is a play on the saying “an heir and a spare.” Prince Harry is the spare to Prince William’s heir, as William is set to take over the throne after his father, King Charles III, dies.

In Prince Harry’s book, “[e]verything is laid bare. Charles comes out of it better than it had expected, but it’s tough on William, in particular, and even Kate gets a bit of a broadside,” a source told the Mail. “There are these minute details, and a description of the fight between the brothers. I personally can’t see how Harry and William will be able to reconcile after this.” (RELATED: Tyler Perry Reveals What Living With Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Was Really Like)

The couple signed a four-book deal with Penguin Random House publishers in 2021, according to the New York Post.
