Is this just your average billionaire move or is this signaling the sale of the Washington Commanders?

Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder has his Potomac, Maryland, estate up for sale with a price tag of $49 million, and if it hits that mark during a purchase, it would be a new record for the DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia).

The current record in the area for the most expensive real estate sale is already held by Dan Snyder after he bought his Alexandria estate for $48 million in 2021.

Known as the River House, Snyder’s Potomac estate features five bedrooms and a whopping 13.5 bathrooms, and it also includes luxuries, such as a spa, theater, library, gym and wine cellar.

Snyder bought the majority of the land from Jordan’s King Hussein and Queen Noor in 2000 for $8.64 million, later purchasing six adjoining lots to grow the D.C.-area property.

Snyder’s house has reportedly been on the market for years now on a private basis, so the fact that it’s for sale shouldn’t come as any surprise. However, what’s interesting about this go-around is that it’s the first time the estate has been for sale publicly.

Oh my God, it could finally be happening — Dan Snyder could actually be selling the Washington Commanders.

Now, let’s not get too ahead of ourselves. After all, this is just Dan putting his house on the market, but the fact that he’s doing it publicly implies that he wants to get rid of the house quickly. (RELATED: Tom Brady To Take A Year Off And Join Fox Sports NFL In 2024)

And why does he want to do that exactly?

Selling the Commanders?

This could be it.
