“Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling said Tuesday that she would “happily” do prison time over new censorship of free speech in Britain.

Britain has apparently decided to learn a thing or two from the worst leaders in history and is trying to ban free speech. Calling someone by the wrong gender could land Brits two years in prison under a proposed Labour Party law, according to Daily Mail. And Rowling is having none of it.

“I’ll happily do two years if the alternative is compelled speech and forced denial of the reality and importance of sex. Bring on the court case, I say. It’ll be more fun than I’ve ever had on a red carpet,” Rowling said on Twitter.

Rowling seems to be one of the only women in Britain who actually wants to protect our gender. Her pinned tweet reads: “Men defining what a woman is, what women should and shouldn’t fear, what women should and shouldn’t say, what rights women should be fine with giving up and, of course, what constitutes ‘real’ misogyny: get a bloody mirror. That’s real misogyny, looking right back at you.” (RELATED: JK Rowling’s Latest Statement Strikes At The Heart Of Trans Identity)

And, let’s be honest, if you try and argue against Rowling’s stance, you’re a total POS. How anyone in 2023 can think a human can change their gender is beyond me. Censoring free speech over these issues? Well, I never thought I’d see Labour get any worse than they already were as a party. But … here we are.
