You’ll Never Be Able To Look At Jon Hamm The Same After Watching ‘Fargo’ Season Five

The fifth season of “Fargo” premiered in late November, and it’s probably one of the most bizarre things you’ll see on television all year.

I might be late to the game as far as “Fargo” fans are concerned. But when multiple family members, friends, and even strangers tell you to watch something, then it’s probably going to be good. And season five of “Fargo” is very good … but it’s also one of the most … I don’t know what the word is. I’m less than three episodes in, and I just feel so deeply affected by this season.

It all starts in an affray at a school meeting in Minnesota. Dot (Juno Temple) finds herself in the wrong place at the wrong time, and ends up getting busted for something she barely did. While she’s being held inside, we know Dot is hiding something. But it’ll take more than the first episode to figure out what that is.

But it’s Jon Hamm who steals the show. It’s just hard to describe why with real words. His character, Roy Tillman, evokes more a squeaky noise and facial expression than actual words. In fact, I don’t know if there are any words in English that could perfectly describe the intimidating encapsulation of the screen.

Let’s just put it this way: he makes Kevin Costner’s John Dutton look like a Sunday School teacher … with nipple piercings.

Wealthy parents having their attorney slap adult children. Kidnapping. Cops getting shot. Corrupt cops getting stabbed. Men gearing up for the next 1776. “Fargo” season five has it all. (RELATED: Video Of Trump Goes Viral After ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ Chant Breaks Out At LIV Golf)

Oh, and all of it is a true story.

Check out the trailer here, and give at least the first episode a watch. I guarantee you won’t be able to take your eyes away.
