Michael Buble seemed to say he was high on mushrooms during an awkward NHL All-Star Game press conference, in Toronto, Canada, Thursday.

The Grammy-winning artist joked with reporters that he was feeling the effects of the mushrooms while attending the All-Star Game mock draft at the Scotiabank arena.

“My buddy told me this is just a microdose of mushrooms and he was lying,” Bublé joked, Thursday. “So, I’ll be honest, I thought I was in Blades of Glory for most of the time that I was out there until it sort of settled down and then I realized, ‘Holy shit, I am at the NHL All-Star Game.'”

Fellow captain Will Arnett jabbed at Bublé for making the statement about ingesting mushrooms.

“It just occurs to be that through all the incredible songs that you’ve done over the years and all the hearts of women that you’ve won over around the world, with all that talk about fantasy hockey you lost them all in one sentence,” Arnett said.”It all just evaporated. Years of building it up, and it’s just gone.”

Bublé remained engaged in the banter.

“The mushroom talk cost me all of my contacts, too,” Bublé said.

Arnett asked reporters if they wanted to “follow up on the mushrooms.”

Buble later appeared in a video with Steve “Dangle” Glynn and denied being on mushrooms at all. (RELATED: Famous Rapper Wiz Khalifa Says He Goes To His Child’s School Meetings While High)

“It was a joke,” Bublé said. “Of course I wasn’t! I’m sitting here at dinner. I do have a problem with bread.”
