Just when you thought corporate media had run out of new ideas, Netflix dropped the trailer for “Chicken Nugget” Wednesday and it looks absolutely absurd.

The premise of this aptly-titled television series follows two men, the father (Rue Seung-ryong) and admirer (Ahn Jae-hong) of a young Korean woman called Min-ah (Kim Yoo-jung) who “steps into an odd machine and becomes … a chicken nugget?!” according to the description provided by Netflix. And the trailer is utterly bizarre in the best way.

It starts with the two men talking to a teeny tiny chicken nugget before showing how Min-ah ended up in the wild predicament. “Just admit that it’s all a joke,” her father demands of her admirer after he reveals the situation. “I’ll give you a little pinch on your cheeks and let it slide.” It sounds like the dad is pretty nice, right? Ha! Clearly you’ve never spent time around Korean fathers. His words do not match his expression, and his expression is terrifying.

From here, things just get even more insane and hilarious in what Netflix called their “crispy fried comedy.” (RELATED: You Won’t Watch Anything Weirder Than The Trailer For ‘Poor Things’)

Korea has given us some of the best television and cinema in recent years thanks to the archipelago’s blossoming entertainment industry. Other favorites have to be “Squid Game,” and “Train to Busan,” both of which will have you on the edge of your seat. It seems like “Chicken Nugget” is quite the opposite of these shows, but looks just as good.

The series drops on March 15! Don’t worry, you won’t have to read the subtitles if you don’t want to. It looks like there’s some pretty good dubbing happening (finally).
