“Tiger King” star Carole Baskin’s husband’s will was allegedly forged.

A Hillsborough County Sheriff claimed the signature on the will was forged, according to a report published Tuesday by 10 Tampa Bay. Don Lewis disappeared from Florida in 1997. He was declared dead in 2002.

Lewis’ lawyer Joseph Fritz told Fox News that he also believes the signature was forged.

“They had two experts deem it 100 percent a forgery,” Sheriff Chronister told 10 Tampa Bay. “But, we knew that…we knew that before.” (RELATED: Carole Baskin Now Owns Joe Exotic’s Zoo After Winning Lawsuit)

“The will had already been executed at that point,” he added. “But, it certainly cast another shadow of suspicion, by all means.”

The case doesn’t seem to be cold anymore.

“Investigators have some great leads,” Chronister said. “They’re working through them. I hope something pans out.”

This doesn’t look very good for Baskin, but Lewis could get justice. Nobody to this day knows exactly what happened to Lewis, but it’s important for police to figure it out and to give his family some closure.

It could also be good for Baskin. If she really isn’t involved with any of this like she says, then she could put all of this behind her.

The drama never ends in the “Tiger King” saga.
