This week, Datoc and Malik sat down with Dr. Scott Atlas of the Trump administration’s coronavirus task force for an exclusive interview at the White House.

The Stanford neuroradiologist and health policy adviser took questions on a number of topics related to the pandemic and pushed back on Bill Gates’ criticism of his decision to join the administration’s coronavirus response. Atlas questioned why Gates — a noted college dropout and — would question his resume and chided the public for taking policy cues from someone who’s only qualification appeared to be his net worth. Atlas also discussed how social media has both helped and hindered the government throughout the pandemic, broke down the efficacy of wearing masks outdoors to stop the spread of the pandemic, and did a deep dive on why the administration continues to tout “excess mortality” in assessing its handling of COVID-19.

Omeed has also worked in the United States Senate and House of Representatives. Omeed received a JD, with Honors, from Emory Law School (where he serves on the Alumni Board) and a BA in Philosophy and Political Science, Cum Laude, from Colgate University.
