Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani explained how he says he verified the laptop at the center of the Hunter Biden email scandal in an exclusive interview with the Daily Caller’s senior White House correspondent Christian Datoc on Thursday.

According to Giuliani, the laptop contains lewd images of Hunter Biden as well as emails that — if authentic — would suggest Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden both knew of and participated in his son’s business dealings in Ukraine and China. Biden has previously denied connections to the dealings.

Giuliani claims texts messages and other communications on the hard drive describe meetings he says only Hunter Biden would have been able to know about. He told the Caller that his own investigations into the Biden case had uncovered an off-the-record meeting in the State Department, and further claims that this meeting was mentioned at the correct date and time in text messages saved on the hard drive.

Giuliani claims there are at least two other similar meetings documented in the laptop that led him to believe it is authentic.  (RELATED: Burisma Official Told Hunter Biden They Wanted To ‘Close Down’ Investigation Against Firm’s Owner, According To Unconfirmed Email)

Giuliani claimed in the interview that neither he nor former White House strategist Steve Bannon had previous contact with the computer repair shop owner who reportedly gave him the hard drive earlier this year.
