Eric Church is pumped about fans packing stadiums again.

The country music superstar shared a video of him after performing in Chicago and St. Louis, and he talked to the fans about how it feels damn good to be back together after COVID-19 shut down so many major events. “I didn’t dream about songs. I didn’t dream about cities. I dreamed about this right here. Everybody shoulder to shoulder, beside each other, normal again. We are meant to gather. We are meant to sing. We are meant to drink in fellowship,” Church told fans surrounding him at the concert.

He even added that he might have drank 20 beers in his garage while gathering his thoughts during the pandemic. I’m here for that kind of energy. Give his full comments a watch below.

Good for Church for coming out and saying what so many of us are thinking. In 2020, some of us were kept apart for far too long.

Out in the Washington D.C. metro area, stuff was shut down for months, and when places finally did open back up in the summer, it was with limited capacities.

The days of hammering beers with the boys on a Saturday afternoon in a packed bar were gone for the time being.

It was awful, and I think I speak for a lot of people when I say it was frustrating as all hell.

Now, stadiums are packed again for concerts and sporting events, and for the first time in a long time, it feels like we’re rolling again.

If that doesn’t put a smile on your face, I don’t know what to tell you!
