Travis and Jason Kelce are reportedly asking for $100 million for their “New Heights” podcast, suggesting they lack some of the self-awareness to understand their current fame.
Apparently “New Heights” is one of the most popular podcasts in the playlists right now, even though I asked ten people if they’d heard of it this morning and all said no. And most of them said they only listen to podcasts while driving these days and not really all that often. Still, WhiskeyRiff says “New Heights” ranks no. 4 in podcasts at the time of writing and probably has something to do with the fact Travis is dating Taylor Swift.
Bless the Kelce brother’s hearts as they think their alleged 1.92 million listeners per episode is worth $100 million, which would put them on a similar level as the actual most-popular podcast hosts, Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson and Joe Rogan.

The brothers have contacted Wondery, which is owned by Amazon, for a deal to bring their show to the network, people familiar told The Wall Street Journal (WSJ). Clearly no one sent them the memo that podcasts are a dying medium. And pretty much the only reason women give a crap about either Kelce brother is because one of them is sleeping with Swift. If Kelce wasn’t dating Swift, we’d all be like, “Travis, who?” We’ll all go back to that mindset if he and Swifty don’t work out … just like what happened with all her other exes.

While WhiskeyRiff argued the lads seem to be living the dream, Hollywood is pretty good at flipping the switch into a nightmare. (RELATED: Travis Kelce Apparently Spent $8 Million To Date Taylor Swift So Far)
Part of me hopes the two men maintain their trajectory because it clearly makes them happy. Let’s just pray they’re saving what money they do have. I also firmly believe Travis will end up becoming one of the go-to hosts for American television, though I’m sure Swifty will have other ideas if he actually pops her the question.
But all it would take is one ill-timed photograph, one bad date with Swift and it could all come crumbling down.
