CNN’s “The Lead” host Jake Tapper noted that even though likely GOP presidential candidate Jeb Bush bungled his answer to questions about the War in Iraq, at least he was “out there taking questions,” unlike Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. CNN correspondent Dana Bash reported on a confrontation between a young liberal activist and Bush at a campaign stop in Nevada. “But the fact that Jeb Bush engaged with her shows he’s accessible on the campaign trail, which Jake, I think you’ll agree, those in the press appreciate,” she said.

Tapper played off her comments to start the panel discussion. “Dana was perhaps not so subtly referring to the fact Jeb Bush is at least out there taking questions, unlike the only person running for president who actually voted to go to war in Iraq, Hillary Clinton. We look forward to the moment when Hillary Clinton will take questions from the press.”

“It’s been over three weeks,” CNN analyst S. E. Cupp noted.

“Hopefully that will happen,” Tapper said. “And absolutely full credit to the candidates who take questions from reporters.” (VIDEO: Kathleen Parker: Fiorina’s Answered 200 Questions, ‘Hillary Clinton’s Answered Seven’)
