Paige VanZant got lit up late Saturday night by Amanda Ribas at UFC 251.
In her first fight in more than a year, VanZant didn’t even make a full round before tapping out. Ribas got her on the ground and it was over. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

I hate to sound dramatic, but it feels like the Paige VanZant hype train is officially dead. It’s over. She has a big career ahead of her in entertainment, but her fighting days need to end.
I’ve supported VanZant for years, but she just doesn’t win enough to justify it at this point.

Was she the next big thing years ago? Sure. There’s no doubt about that at all. However, it’s now 2020 and she’s won two fights in the past four years.
At some point, you need to win or get out of the octagon. Despite the fact that I’m a huge fan, we’re now at that point of VanZant’s career.
I wish it wasn’t that way, but it clearly is over for her.

VanZant should rake in the money in the entertainment world and leave her fighting days in the past. Sometimes, you just need to know when to leave the party.
