Russian athletes won’t be allowed to rock their colors at the next two Olympics.

According to the Associated Press, Russia has been banned from using the country’s flag, anthem or colors at the upcoming games in Tokyo and the 2022 winter Olympics in Beijing. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

The decision from the Court of Arbitration for Sport is in response to doping violations.

Russian athletes already couldn’t rock their colors at the 2018 games and competed as a squad known as “Olympic Athletes from Russia.”

All thoughts on doping aside, this is such a stupid decision. It was a stupid decision in 2018, and it’s just as stupid right now.

Russia won the gold medal in hockey in 2018 under the OAR name, and it’s not like a single person didn’t know they were Russians.

It’s not like people in Russia didn’t get just as drunk celebrating. It’s a stupid punishment and that’s putting it lightly.

As someone suggested this morning, the Russians should just start wearing the colors of the Soviet Union, play the Soviet anthem and rock the Soviet flag.

While I hate communism, I love sticking it to the man. Give the Olympics a gigantic middle finger and just play as the Soviet Union.

If that happens, I would cheer for them in every event that they weren’t playing against America in.

Do it, Putin! Just do it!
