Actress Sharon Stone revealed she had a secret abortion at the age of 18.
Stone got pregnant after becoming sexually active with her then-boyfriend while growing up in Pennsylvania, the actress wrote in her memoir, as noted by Vulture magazine Tuesday.

The “Basic Instinct” actress drove across state lines to Ohio for her abortion appointment because she had trouble finding one in Pennsylvania, according to Vulture.

“I was bleeding all over the place and far worse than I should have been, but this was a secret and I had no one to tell,” Stone said, the outlet reported. “So I stayed in my room and bled for days. I was weak and scared and then just weak.”
Later a Planned Parenthood opened up in Stone’s town and she claimed it “saved” her.
“This, above all else, saved me: that someone, anyone, could talk to me, educate me,” Stone wrote. “No one ever had, about anything.”
Stone gave other revelations in her memoir, “The Beauty Of Living Twice.” The actress accused her grandfather of sexual abuse. Stone claimed her grandmother, who was also allegedly abused by her husband, would trap her and her sister in a room with their grandfather starting when they were toddlers.
