Fans are obsessed with “1883.”

The third episode of season one aired this past Sunday night, and the ratings were very impressive. The episode averaged 4.3 million viewers on Paramount Network, according to ShowBuzzDaily.com. (REVIEW: ‘Yellowstone‘ Is Outstanding With ‘No Such Thing As Fair’)

That number doesn’t include DVR data or anyone who watched it on Paramount+, which is where it drops early Sunday morning. With just the Paramount Network numbers, “1883” was easily the second most-watched cable show of the night. Only “Yellowstone” beat it.

Once the DVR and Paramount+ numbers are added up, it’s very possible “1883” will solidify itself as the second-most watched show on TV behind “Yellowstone.”

I told you all that “1883” was going to be a gigantic success, and it looks like I was 100% correct. People love the Duttons.

Whether it’s “Yellowstone” or the prequel series with Sam Elliott and Tim McGraw, people can’t get enough of the universe Taylor Sheridan created.

It’s truly wild how both shows have exploded in popularity. I guess that’s what happens when you focus on providing people with entertainment that is actually exciting and enjoyable instead of shows and movies that lecture everyone.

Maybe some more people should take a look at Taylor Sheridan’s model and all the money he’s making, and then try to do the same.

People love his work, and it’s not hard to figure out why!
