REPORT: Famous Actor ‘Lil Meech’ Arrested For Having Firearm In Florida Airport

Famous actor Demetrius Flenory Jr., who stars in the drama series “BMF,” was reportedly arrested Tuesday at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport for carrying a firearm.

The actor, who also goes by “Lil Meech,” reportedly had a gun in his carry-on luggage. Airport security located the weapon, and deputies from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the scene to arrest the actor, according to TMZ. The alleged incident marked the 130th discovery of a gun at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood airport in 2022, according to the outlet.

Law enforcement officers said Lil Meech had a Glock 19 9mm in his luggage, according to TMZ. The weapon itself was reportedly unloaded, but officers also located a 15-round magazine upon a further search, the outlet continued. (RELATED: FBI Releases Crime Stats, Shows Why Gun Ownership Rises)

Lil Meech did not have a carry permit with him at the time, according to TMZ. He was booked on the felony charge of bringing a firearm into the sterile area of the airport. Any upcoming court dates for the actor are not currently public.

Lil Meech’s camp has not issued a formal comment regarding the matter. The story continues to develop.
