The police are investigating after a car allegedly belonging to Rihanna’s driver was stolen outside the singer’s home in March, TMZ reports.

Law enforcement said the driver arrived at Rihanna’s home and left the car running with the keys inside while he stepped into her home briefly to retrieve an item, TMZ reported Monday. The car was reportedly gone by the time the driver came back outside, leading him to believe the 2012 Audi sedan been stolen, the outlet continued. The alleged suspect apparently fled the scene quickly and was gone before police arrived on scene, according to TMZ.

It is not entirely clear if there were important contents within the vehicle, or if Rihanna was home at the time of the incident, according to TMZ.

Police attended the star’s home numerous times in the month of March, specifically during the last two weeks, according to TMZ. Law enforcement was called to Rihanna’s home March 23 after her security team flagged an alleged trespasser on her property who was acting strangely, the outlet reported. Upon being questioned about the reason for his visit, the man apparently declared he had arrived to have sex with the famous singer, according to TMZ. Police removed the man from Rihanna’s property but did not press any charges as he hadn’t actually committed any crime at that time, TMZ reported.
