How about buying some wins while we’re at it?

After months of rumors and speculation, Chelsea has officially launched their campaign for Paris Saint-Germain’s Neymar, approaching the club about a potential deal, according to Le10 Sport.

This season, the Brazilian superstar recorded 18 goals and 17 assists over 29 appearances in all competitions, however, PSG wishes to unload multiple superstars this offseason. And one of them is Neymar.

Le10’s report states the club will be looking for a “good” price for Neymar, who signed with Paris Saint-Germain (from Barcelona) back in the summer of 2017 for a world-record fee of €222 million.

Finishing 12th in the English Premier League, my Blues were absolutely dismal in the 2022-23 season, but owner Todd Boehly is doing everything in his power to turn Chelsea into winners. And this after already investing €600 million into the team.

To kick off the offseason, Boehly hired a sexy brand in Mauricio Pochettino as his manager, and now Pochettino is targeting sexy talent himself to take into next season. And by the way, Pochettino already has history with Neymar, managing the superstar while he was PSG’s boss in the 2021-22 campaign.

As a Chelsea fan, I want to get excited, but at the same time, it’s hard to after a €600 million shopping spree earlier in the year didn’t do anything but produce a … well … trash team.

I’m just going to be blunt, because yeah, I want to win as a fan. I want championships. Not this trainwreck that we had this season that left everybody laughing at us. (RELATED: CBS Miami’s Samantha Rivera Stiff-Arms Rude Vegas Golden Knights Fan, Still Does Her Job To Perfection Like A Boss)

I’m fine with getting Neymar, that’s my boy … but can we finally get some wins? Some silverware? Results?!

It’s not too much to ask.
