“Home Improvement” alum Zachery Ty Bryan is reportedly facing a felony charge in relation to his DUI arrest in February.
Newly filed legal documents said the famous actor was charge with driving under the influence with three or more priors within the same decade, according to a TMZ report published early Wednesday. The felony complaint indicated that Bryan refused to submit to a sobriety test when he was pulled over by police, but it was later determined that he had a blood alcohol level of 0.15, nearly twice the legal limit, according to TMZ.
The court documents claimed the child star was involved in a collision on the same night that he was arrested for driving under the influence. They allege Bryan’s accident resulted in property damage and claim he failed to stop at the scene. The famous actor did not provide his name and address at the time of the accident, according to TMZ.
If Bryan is convicted of the charges filed against him, he could face up to 3 years in jail.
La Quinta Police pulled Bryan over in the early hours Feb. 17. Officers reportedly said the star showed visible signs of impairment during a routine traffic stop, which ultimately led to his arrest.
Shortly after his most recent arrest, Bryan was spotted at Applebee’s and another licensed establishment, Amigos. He reportedly sat at the bar and enjoyed drinks at each of those locations, according to TMZ. (RELATED: Police Charge Karen Huger With DUI And DWI After Crash: REPORT)
