“Yellowstone” creator Taylor Sheridan is once again calling all locals and weary travelers to take part in the background of one of his biggest shows “Lioness,” reports revealed Saturday.
The epic spy-military show “Lioness” is in the thick of filming its second season after a stunning first storyline throughout season one. Starring the likes of Nicole Kidman, Zoe Saldana, Laysla De Oliveira, Michael Kelly, Morgan Freeman, and more, anyone lucky enough to nab one of the paid background roles will be in huge company.
Texas-based Legacy Casting is looking for folks to take part in several scenes throughout the upcoming season, all of which will be filmed in North Texas in late July through early August, according to the Fort-Worth Star-Telegram.

The roles are all fairly generic, meaning pretty much anyone can shoot their shot at the small screen. A few of the scenes actually sound kind of fun, like being at an upscale restaurant, in the kitchen, or even getting to dress up as Mexican military, police, and National Guard members.
But knowing Sheridan, this won’t be the only opportunity for you to have you 15 minutes of fame on one of his massive productions.

Sheridan also held open casting for Texas Christian University (TCU) students and alumni, and “real-life roughnecks” to take part in his other series “Landman,” starring Billy Bob Thornton, Jon Hamm, and Demi Moore. (RELATED: Sylvester Stallone’s ‘Tulsa King’ Hit With Major On-Set Drama)
The television creator sure is putting Texas on the map as far as entertainment goes. And since he’s so hated by Hollywood, it is kind of great to see him taking the industry away from California. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Lone Star state becomes the new center for entertainment thanks to Sheridan and so many others making their way out of the chaos of the West coast.
