Clemson football coach Dabo Swinney recently did an incredible interview with ESPN.

The Tigers will play Ohio State in the first round of the college football playoff, and it’s arguably the most highly-anticipated semifinals game I can remember. Yet, the two-time national champion appeared very calm and collected talking about it. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

“It really doesn’t matter to me. You just want a chance to be in the playoff,” Swinney said when asked about Clemson being ranked third.

Watch the full interview below.

The interview above is a perfect example of why Swinney is such an incredible coach. He’s not letting all the disrespect get to him or his guys.

He’s just focused on what’s ahead of his team, and right now that’s a hell of a tough squad from Columbus.

He doesn’t have time to focus on distractions or outside noise.

The Tigers and Buckeyes will do battle Dec. 28. I can’t wait. LSU/Oklahoma should be a good one too, but it’s got nothing on Swinney vs. Ryan Day.

That much I can tell you for sure. Tune in on ESPN. I’ll be locked in and watching!
