The Detroit Lions have an absolutely brutal 2020 schedule.

The NFL dropped the schedules of all 32 teams Thursday night, and the Lions are in a horrible position for the upcoming season.

Outside of our usual NFC North games against Chicago, Minnesota and Green Bay, the Lions have games against Arizona, New Orleans, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Indy, Washington, Carolina, Houston, Tennessee and Tampa Bay. I hope Matt Patricia has his resume updated because I don’t see how he survives this schedule. I just don’t see it at all.

I’m a huge Lions fan. I’m a gigantic Lions fan, and I don’t have much optimism at all after seeing that schedule. I don’t see five wins. I could see even less.

In our first seven games, I don’t see a single guaranteed win. The first guaranteed win won’t come until November 15 against the Washington Redskins.

What a horrible draw for a schedule. Just brutal on every level. There are a lot of games I’d say are coin flips, but that’s not inspiring me with much hope.

I think we’re in serious trouble.

If we struggle out of the gate, Patricia is going to get fired, and I’m not sure how we don’t at this point. I hope I’m wrong, but I’m not holding my breath at this point for a great 2020 season.
