The St. Louis Cardinals reportedly have several more cases of coronavirus.

According to Robert Murray, the team has “multiple new positive tests.” Jon Heyman confirmed the news, and said it’s not known right now how many new cases the team has. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

The Cardinals had their games against the Brewers postponed because of positive tests.

The Miami Marlins already had to suspend play because of coronavirus, and it sounds like the St. Louis Cardinals could be following a very similar path.

Ever since Friday, the Cardinals have been getting hit with bad coronavirus news, and it doesn’t sound like it’s going to end any time soon.

Are we really about to see a second MLB team suspend play less than two weeks into the league’s return? That’d be nothing short of an absolute disaster.

At the same time, I’m not sure how the Cardinals could not suspend play if the virus is spreading throughout the clubhouse.

You simply can’t let them play games or travel if that’s the case.
