Cincinnati vs. Tulsa has been canceled.

The Bearcats announced Tuesday morning that the game against the Golden Hurricane has been called off, and won’t be rescheduled. Kelly Hines reported that there are coronavirus issues within Cincy’s program. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

The good news is that the two teams will still meet in the AAC championship next Saturday.

This is one of the rare situations where the impact of a cancelation isn’t overly huge. Does it suck for everyone involved?

Yes, but Tulsa is still going to get a shot at Cincy. It’s now just going to come in the AAC title game.

If anything, the AAC championship game just got a hell of a lot more interesting because the two squads won’t meet right beforehand.

Did a coronavirus cancelation actually improve the schedule for once? I’m kidding, but I think you all get my point.

You can catch the AAC title game December 19th!
