Urban Meyer hasn’t completely closed the door on coaching again.

Meyer’s name has been all over the news recently because of the belief Texas will fire Tom Herman, but he hasn’t shown much interest in returning to the sidelines. However, during a recent interview with Colin Cowherd, he left a slight opening to pick up the clipboard. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Meyer told Cowherd, “At this point, I think I’m done, but I would never say, ‘I’m never done.'” You can watch his full comments below.

I love when coaches who have retired pull this card. We all know Urban Meyer is almost certainly coaching again.

It’d be absolutely shocking if he did coach again, but he knows he can set the college football world on fire by just leaving open the door a little bit.

That’s exactly what he did with his comments to Cowherd. He’s leaving just enough room to let the rumors swirl and swirl!

Don’t think for one second that Meyer doesn’t know the exact game he’s playing with the media right now.

Having said that, I’ll still be shocked if he ever coaches again. Prove me wrong, Urban! Prove me wrong!
