The comedy here is… electrifying.

A lightning strike survivors group is angry with former NFL quarterback Drew Brees over a commercial they’ve labeled “disgusting.” The commercial, which was an advertisement for gambling entity PointsBet, showed Brees appear to get struck by lightning as he promoted the company’s “lightning bets” service.

The lightning strike victims group, who call themselves Lightning Strike and Electric Shock Survivors International (LSESSI), blasted the Drew Brees x PointsBet collaboration as “disgusting” and “inappropriate,” according to TMZ Sports. The organization’s mission is to help people whose lives have been impacted by lightning strikes.

“The recent Drew Brees lightning commercial is an inappropriate, disgusting method of promoting gambling or any TV commercial campaign … This is a deadly injury, and it is disappointing to see the continual ridicule of lightning and electrical injury survivors in comical light in which it is presented for commercial gain and profit,” LSESSI wrote in a statement, according to TMZ.

I love how the human species has gotten so weak to the point where we’re now offended at commercials, and then you have the fact that there’s a victims group for literally everything — even lightning strikes? (RELATED: Drew Brees Officially Leaves NBC After One Season)

I can hear the offended tone now: “Coming from somebody who’s never been struck by lightning!”

You got me.

Carry on, Drew Brees. Carry on, PointsBet. Carry on.

Stop being so sensitive, people.
