Los Angeles Police arrested a man who allegedly broke into Pierce Brosnan’s Malibu mansion Monday afternoon and bathed himself in the laundry room, TMZ reported.

The man allegedly engaged in a series of problematic activities leading up to the alleged break-and-enter, according to TMZ. He allegedly began by urinating and defecating in Brosnan’s neighbor’s yard, then allegedly rummaged through the garbage, seemingly in search of something. He proceeded to allegedly storm Brosnan’s residence — and the famous actor’s wife, Keely, was inside, according to TMZ.

The unidentified male suspect was observed allegedly using the neighbor’s yard as his own personal bathroom before he allegedly walked around Brosnan’s backyard and made his way to the front area, according to TMZ. It’s unclear how he allegedly gained entry or found his way around and made it to the laundry room area.

Someone phoned in for assistance, but by the time the Los Angeles Police Department arrived on the scene, the suspect had taken off on foot. A helicopter was dispatched to aid in the search, and the suspect was located not far from the Brosnan residence, according to TMZ. Police located the man hiding in the rocks along the coast and took him into custody. He was arrested for burglary — allegedly stealing Brosnan’s water during his mini-shower experience.

It’s unclear if Keely had direct contact with the suspect, or if she was aware of his presence in her home. Reports did not indicate whether or not Brosnan was inside his home at that time.
