My kids and I are totally game for this!

This season’s Super Bowl will feature a kid-centric presentation that will air on Nickelodeon, according to an announcement Tuesday from NFL and CBS Sports. This will be the first time ever the Super Bowl will have an alternate telecast on a different network.

CBS has the television rights to Super Bowl LVIII, which is scheduled for Feb. 11, 2024 in Las Vegas.

“We’re thrilled to partner with CBS Sports and Nickelodeon to present the first alternate telecast of the Super Bowl,” said NFL media executive vice president Hans Schroeder in a statement. “Our previous telecasts on Nickelodeon have been huge hits and created a new and different way to experience an NFL game. We’re excited to bring that creativity to Super Bowl 58 and give our fans another way to enjoy one of the world’s most popular sporting events.”

Ahh … this is gonna be great.

If you remember, I actually blogged about the Nickelodeon Christmas game last season between the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Rams. Well, this is actually the fourth season that the NFL is doing this, but it’s the first time that it will feature more than one broadcast, including the Super Bowl.
