The 71-year-old sports commentator reportedly remained very humble after becoming a real-life hero in this emergency situation, per the outlet.
“Bob doesn’t think this was that big of a deal,” the source said, according to Page Six. “He really feels he did what just about anyone else would do in a similar situation.”
The identity of the person who nearly died is not yet known, and details surrounding the incident, including the age and gender of the individual and what he or she choked on, have not been publicly shared.
