The wife of Morgan Wallen’s longtime friend HARDY told podcasters in October that the country music legend is looking for love, and that he has a pretty specific type.

Caleigh Hardy told “The Spillover” podcast Wallen is into “skinny blondes” and that he’s absolutely on the search for love. In fact, Caleigh and her husband, HARDY, have been trying to set him up for awhile. Unfortunately, she seemed to fall for the typical trope of assuming celebrities should always date other celebrities, when actually, the opposite is true.

“Morgan is so famous that he would have to date — for it to work — it would have to be on some sort of level playing field,” Caleigh explained. “Like an actress or a pop star, someone big. The problem is Hollywood is so [liberal] that I feel like they would all die before going on a date with him.” She then said some social media influencer called Alix Earle would be a good person to date, but she appears to be another podcaster, so I worry.

As one of my very famous friends once told me, “When your career is public-facing, you need someone normal, someone who doesn’t care about your followers, your money, or your fame to come home to.” Having a normal marriage is what keeps most celebrities grounded, and helps them compartmentalize the fake world of celebrity from the real world of modern love.

In reality, most celebrities who manage to sustain healthy and happy marriages don’t do so with other celebrities (except for a handful of circumstances, and we’re not including the obvious gay men married to straight women). It’s also the responsibility of a celebrity’s partner to make sure they have a regular, loving home to return to. Sure, some normal wives end up growing their own celebrity (ie: the icon that is Brittany Aldean), but that fame has to come in at a long second to God, love and family for both spouses to be happy. I hope someone tells Wallen this before his life gets destroyed by some social-climber who wants to use him for his celebrity, money, career and nothing inside of his soul.

The only person who I think doesn’t fit this mold, and would have been a great partner, is Kristin Cavallari. She’s been-there-done-that with her fame. She’s a mother, runs her own business and she seems super cool and fun.
