Just when you thought 2023 couldn’t get any wilder, a commercial dropped Saturday featuring “1883” star Sam Elliott, and it is an absolute must-watch.

The commercial is narrated by Elliott and directed by “1883” creator, “Yellowstone” co-creator and real-life cowboy Taylor Sheridan, according to TV Insider. It tells the story of feeding America under the context of the 6666 (“Four Sixes“) Ranch and the importance of Frito’s chips in helping us all get fed.

The commercial follows the cowboys at 6666 as they start their day before dawn, often grabbing a pack of Fritos to take the edge off the morning hunger pang. From here, we watch as these powerful men destroy their bodies in the pursuit of feeding the rest of America. When they know they’re done, and people won’t starve, the cowboys head home, where their families fry up a Frito-coated cutlet to fill the cowboys up after a long, tiresome day.

The commercial debuted on Paramount+, who have an ongoing collaboration and development deal with Sheridan, known colloquially as the “Sheridan-Universe.” (RELATED: Sam Elliott Says Liberal Hollywood’s Favorite New Western Is Stupid, Way Too Gay, And Frankly, Not Even A Western)

This is apparently Sheridan’s first time directing a television commercial. But he did take part in an absolutely hilarious video where members of the Dallas Cowboys auditioned for a role on an upcoming season or spin-off of his epic “Yellowstone” franchise series.
