Police reportedly arrested “Euphoria” star Hunter Schafer after she was apparently involved in a protest Monday calling for a ceasefire in the war between Israel and Hamas.
The New York Police Department (NYPD) escorted the famous actress and a number of other protesters away from the area, according to TMZ. Video of Schafer’s arrest surfaced on social media, appearing to show the star wearing a t-shirt that read “Cease Fire Now,” as she was led away from the Rockefeller Plaza in Midtown Manhattan.

Police gave Schafer two summonses for trespassing and disorderly conduct, TMZ reported.

Schafer was one of many “Jewish Voice For Peace” protestors. She appeared to be dressed all in black with her hair worn down, joining other protesters in shouting, “No more weapons. No more war. Cease fire is what we’re fighting for.”

Videos posted to social media showed the “Jewish Voice” group sitting in the lobby of the Rockefeller Center and waving banners that read “Jews to Biden: Stop arming genocide” and “Lasting cease-fire,” amid President Joe Biden’s visit to the area.
