Taylor Swift’s father, Scott Swift, will not be charged after allegedly assaulting a photographer in Australia, CNN reported Tuesday.

Australian authorities have announced that no charges will be brought against Taylor’s dad, following allegations of an assault on a photographer in Sydney, according to CNN. A member of the New South Wales (NSW) Police Media Unit confirmed that they will be closing the case.

“[Officers] have conducted an investigation following a report of an assault at Neutral Bay Wharf (in Sydney) at about 2:30 a.m. local time on 27 February,” a spokesperson for the NSW Police Force told CNN. “No further police action.”

It was previously reported that the altercation involved photographer Ben McDonald, who accused Scott of hitting him after a confrontation that allegedly also included one of Taylor’s security guards pushing an umbrella into McDonald’s face and camera. The incident happened at Neutral Bay Wharf in Sydney, just after midnight. It took place after Taylor had left a yacht in Sydney Harbor, marking the end of the Australian leg of her concert, which has become the highest-grossing tour ever. A representative for Taylor addressed the issue and informed CNN that her team had received threats. “Two individuals were aggressively pushing their way towards Taylor, grabbing at her security personnel, and threatening to throw a female staff member into the water,” the spokesperson said, according to CNN.
