’19 Kids And Counting’ Star Reveals Her Child Was Stillborn

“19 Kids and Counting” stars Jill Duggar Dillard and Derick Dillard announced April 13 that their child was stillborn in an emotional post shared on Instagram.

Jill and Derick are parents of three sons, and were expecting the newest edition of their family to be born in August. The couple revealed their pregnancy loss by sharing details with fans and asking for prayers.

“💔It is with heavy hearts that we announce the stillbirth of our beautiful baby girl, Isla Marie Dillard,” they wrote to social media.

Jill and Derick provided fans with more insight about their emotional journey.

“Jill was 4 months pregnant (due in August) when we found out that our baby died in utero,” they wrote.

“From the moment we found out we were pregnant, we couldn’t wait to meet our baby,” they shared.

“Isla was much loved from the start, and her 3 big brothers were so excited to introduce her to their world,” they said, as they addressed the profound way their entire family has been affected.

“We appreciate your prayers as we continue to grieve and heal from the loss of our little Isla Marie. 😭🩷” they wrote.

Jill and Derick went on to say that they were going to share more information about their tremendous loss as they processed the various emotions associated with such a devastating ordeal.

The reality television stars directed fans to their blog for continued updates on their current family crisis.

Funeral arrangements have not yet been shared with fans.
