The College Football Playoff is about to be so live!

It was announced Tuesday by the CFP that the board of managers has unanimously approved a 5+7 model that will allow a 12-team playoff beginning in the 2024 season. The 5+7 format means the five highest-ranked conference champions will be included in the collegiate postseason, as well as the next seven highest-ranked teams.

Following a delay for months because of a crumbling Pac-12, the College Football Playoff made their decision Tuesday morning during a meeting that was held between 10 FBS commissioners and the president of Notre Dame, Rev. John Jenkins. In order for the 5+7 format to be approved, the vote had to be in favor of it unanimously, and that’s exactly what happened.

In most seasons, the 5+7 format will feature the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, SEC and the highest-ranked “Group of 5” conference champions.

Oh, man. This is gonna be great.

If you read my recent blog, you remember me complaining about how Florida is removing Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) apps, but after reading the bill (if I understand the language correctly), this is all eventually getting legalized and we’ll be getting DFS back at least by July 1. Let’s just hope the apps don’t get ruined with any “tweaking.”

But anyways, you know what this means, right? (RELATED: The Drama Is Real! Justin Fields Unfollows Chicago Bears On Instagram Amid Mass NFL Draft Speculation)

DFS apps back in Florida + 12-team College Football Playoff = A LOT OF MONEY.

This is gonna be absolutely spectacular.
