Do you want to have the least amount of fun you’ve ever had? Great news! A bunch of losers have created “climate cafes,” according to a Wednesday article, and they sound like the worst time you could ever possibly have. Ever.
I’d already like to petition these clubs to change their name from “climate cafes” to “I’m dumb and I love being a victim” cafes. The first of these kombucha-drinking misery dens was started by eight whiney New Yorkers who one day decided to share their absolute lack of intellect on the climate crisis, according to The New York Times (NYT). Then these groups of fools reportedly started banding together all over the country to complain about things they don’t understand.
“These in-person and online groups are places for people to discuss their grief, fears, anxiety and other emotions about the climate crisis,” the NYT explained, which made me laugh harder than an episode of “Impractical Jokers” I watched last night (the one where Joe falls onto the tables).

I assume these cafes are a symptom of the American education system’s impeccable job of turning young people into the greatest vessels of propaganda. They wear this propaganda like tattoos, willing to die for a lie they’ve been told by politicians who perpetuate our abusive relationship with the natural world.
Absolutely any of these climate cafe attendees could do something meaningful to help with this broken relationship, but they appear to be too stupid and narcissistic to do anything at all. “I find myself struggling to enjoy the outdoors because of the constant reminders” of environmental deterioration, one young woman told the NYT. To this, I was speechless. Such a statement is just so embarrassing.

How much do you have to enjoy hating yourself to say something like this? And how embarrassing! If these losers knew anything, they’d be as far away from cities as possible, trying their best to live off the grid.
But no, they go to their cafes and complain. Ironically, their behavior is helping make the world a far worse place. Their total inaction makes our relationship with the climate worse. And their whining makes me not want to help when the time comes, and they’ve spent time complaining instead of developing the skills to have a beautiful, healthy, thriving relationship with the natural world. Perhaps if the governmental oligarchs and unelected scum these climate cafe people worship (ie: the World Economic Forum, et al.) told them to do something more than be a freaking bunch of cry babies, they’d do it. But until then, they’re just as useless as the politicians and climate change misinformation peddlers themselves.
